Gmail (Coming Soon) Optional background sync and auto-rules are disabled by default and only run if explicitly enabled in the service configuration. Gmail integration is planned and will be enabled following completion of Google OAuth verification. When enabled, Easy Mail will request only the scopes necessary to perform user‑requested actions such as bulk deletion and automated cleanup. Email content is never stored, in transit or at rest. Until verification is complete, Easy Mail does not request Gmail scopes and does not access, store, or process Gmail data in transit or at rest. IT Admin Setup (Microsoft 365 School/Work Tenants)
Some organizations block end-user OAuth consent for third-party apps. In those environments, a Microsoft Entra admin must approve Easy Mail once for the tenant.
Exact Microsoft Graph permissions requested
Mail.ReadWrite- Required to move user-requested messages to Deleted Items/Trash and support cleanup actions.offline_access- Required to refresh user tokens without repeated sign-in prompts.User.Read- Required to identify the signed-in mailbox and complete account binding.
Easy Mail uses delegated user permissions and acts only for signed-in users who explicitly connect their mailbox.
Admin approval steps
- Sign in to Easy Mail Dashboard with an account in your Microsoft 365 tenant.
- Click
Approve Outlook for organization. - Sign in as a Microsoft Entra admin (Global Admin, Cloud App Admin, or Privileged Role Admin).
- Review requested permissions and grant tenant-wide consent.
- Return to Easy Mail Dashboard and verify the approval success message.
- Ask users in your tenant to connect Outlook/School/Work accounts normally.
If users still cannot connect
- Verify the app is Publisher Verified in Microsoft Entra.
- Confirm tenant policy allows admin-consented enterprise applications.
- Ensure redirect URIs match exactly.
- Review Easy Mail telemetry counters for AADSTS failures by code to identify policy-specific blockers.
